UTIS expands presence in the steel industry at the 10th ABM Week

Efficiency and competitiveness for a steel industry in transformation

From 8 to 10 September 2026, UTIS will be in São Paulo, Brazil, as a sponsor of the 10th ABM Week, an international event of reference for the metallurgy, materials and mining sectors, organized by the Associação Brasileira de Metalurgia, Materiais e Mineração (ABM).

Participation in this important event represents another step in expanding UTIS’ presence in the steel industry, providing an opportunity to reinforce relationships with some of the industry’s leading producers and advance the opportunities the company has been developing in this market.

UC3® Technology applied to process efficiency

During ABM Week, the UTIS team will be at Booth No. 02, available to discuss UC3® Technology, our patented solution for the optimisation of industrial combustion processes.

The technology focuses on improving the efficiency of existing processes, addressing challenges that directly impact industrial competitiveness, including:

  • Higher energy efficiency;
  • Reduced fuel consumption;
  • Lower Cash Cost;
  • Greater operational stability;
  • Reduced CO₂ emissions.

UTIS also has a methodology for calculating the CO₂ emissions avoided through the application of UC3® Technology, validated by Bureau Veritas, reinforcing transparency and credibility in quantifying the environmental impact associated with the technology.

Competitiveness and decarbonization

In an industry undergoing significant transformation, improving the efficiency of existing assets and processes is becoming increasingly important in the pursuit of greater competitiveness and lower carbon intensity.

At UTIS, we believe that decarbonization also starts with improving the efficiency of existing processes. In this context, UC3® Technology aims to bring together industrial performance, energy efficiency and emissions reduction.

Our presence at ABM Week will therefore be an opportunity to reconnect with clients and partners, reinforce relationships with leading players across the mining and metals value chain, and continue developing new opportunities for the application of our technology in the steel industry.
