Position: Maintenance & After-Sales Service (SAV) Technician – Operations Team
Location: São Domingos de Rana, Cascais, Portugal

Mission

The mission of the Maintenance & After-Sales Service (SAV) Technician – Operations Team is to plan, coordinate, and carry out maintenance activities efficiently, ensuring compliance with the company’s quality, cost, and delivery standards. The role also ensures that all technical interventions are performed in accordance with equipment operation and maintenance manuals while maintaining professional and effective communication with customers throughout the service process.

Key Responsibilities

  • Interpret technical drawings and perform precision measurements to support fault diagnosis and maintenance activities.
  • Assemble, disassemble, position, and install equipment, ensuring correct installation and reliable operation.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of maintenance tools, methods, and processes.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary technical teams and liaise with customers regarding specific maintenance requirements, ensuring compliance with contractual obligations and warranty conditions.
  • Assist in preparing quotations and manage the inventory of maintenance consumables and spare parts.
  • Record and update technical intervention data and prepare periodic reports for management.
  • Identify operational risks and propose mitigation measures to ensure the safety of people, facilities, and equipment.
  • Maintain an organized work environment and comply with all health and safety procedures.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Technical qualification in Industrial Maintenance or a technical diploma in one of the following areas: Mechatronics, Hydraulics, Automation, Electrical Engineering/Power Systems, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar role.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Intermediate level of English (written and spoken) – preferred.
  • Intermediate knowledge of electrical systems, automation, hydraulics, and pneumatics.
  • Strong understanding of operations management and collaborative teamwork.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills, and resilience.
  • Full availability to travel nationally and internationally.

Position: Human Resources Trainee

Mission

To join the Human Resources team, providing administrative support across HR activities, contributing to the efficiency of internal processes, ensuring compliance with organizational procedures, and supporting the implementation of strategic Human Resources initiatives. The successful candidate will report directly to the Human Resources Manager.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the management of absence records and the use of the ELO platform.
  • Manage employee access platforms for client sites, ensuring compliance with GDPR requirements.
  • Support the management of the documentation required under Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) regulations for employees and service providers accessing UTIS and client premises.
  • Organize, file, and digitize Human Resources administrative documentation.
  • Maintain and update employee databases and records.
  • Support recruitment and selection processes, including CV screening, interview scheduling, and candidate communication.
  • Assist in organizing training sessions, meetings, and initiatives under the UTIS Academy and the Annual Training Plan.
  • Support internal communication and the promotion of Human Resources initiatives.
  • Provide administrative support across the Human Resources function, contributing to the continuous improvement of HR processes.

 

 

Requirements

  • Vocational qualification in Human Resources or a related field.
  • Eligibility to undertake a professional internship under the IEFP INICIAR Program.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Intermediate level of English (written and spoken) – preferred.
  • Experience with Primavera ERP – preferred.
