UTIS Announces Partnership with LUCKY CEMENT to Introduce UC3® Technology in Pakistan

UTIS – Ultimate Technology to Industrial Savings, a Portuguese technological company specialised in innovative solutions for combustion efficiency and decarbonization, announces a strategic partnership with LUCKY CEMENT, the largest cement producer in Pakistan, to implement its patented UC3® technology on their operations. The agreement, formalised through a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) in December 2024, marks a decisive step in promoting improved performance, beyond sustainability and energy efficiency in the Pakistani cement industry.
UC3® technology allowed LUCKY CEMENT to achieve the following significant results:
- Improved kiln performance and productivity;
- Reduced CO₂ emissions, advancing its decarbonization strategy;
- Reduced Specific Heat Consumption, increasing operational efficiency;
- Fossil Fuels Trade-off, into a more sustainable and reduced specific cost of fuels;
- Strengthening leadership in sustainability within Pakistan’s construction sector.
