UTIS winner of the best SME of the year 2023

With great pride, we announce that UTIS was elected the best SME in the country and the best in the Metalworking and Basic Metallurgy sector.

After 2020, UTIS was again distinguished as the best SME and this time, doubly: the best SME operating in the Metalworking and Basic Metallurgy activity sector, as well as the big winner of the initiative that distinguishes “the best of the best ” Small and Medium-sized Companies in the Country in 2023 (Referring to 2022, last year with complete results).

The 27th edition of the “1000 Largest SMEs 2023”, promoted by EXAME Portugal Magazine and Ageas Seguros, in partnership with EY and Informa D&B, is based on quantitative and qualitative analyses on the financial data presented by companies in 21 sectors of activity.

The ceremony took place on February 7th at Casa da Música in Porto. The award was presented to the members of the Board of Directors: Vítor Gonçalo, President and Carlos Abreu.

UTIS closes in 2023, for the fifth consecutive year since its establishment in 2018, with an increase in its business volume, mainly for the external market. Today, it has approximately 100 employees and two subsidiaries in Brazil and New Zealand to ensure greater proximity to its markets, where its technology is currently implemented in 27 countries.
