Visit of the Crea SC engineering mission to UTIS highlights technological advances and innovative partnerships
As part of the Innovation and Engineering Roadmap 2024, we had the honour of receiving a visit from engineers from Brazil, organised by Alfa Comunicação e Conteúdo, with the support of Confea – Federal Council of Engineering and Agronomy and the Portuguese Order of Engineers. These were moments of sharing and a wealth of knowledge.
In recent times, Portugal has stood out as an emerging hub of excellence in several areas of engineering and technology, while the European Union continues to be at the forefront of innovation and technological development.
UTIS is among the companies with the most innovative technology in the world. We are proud of our role and commitment to innovation and developing projects that enhance the energy transition for a more sustainable future.
The meeting symbolised an important step in building relationships between UTIS and the technical and industrial community, highlighting the company’s potential to promote significant technological and environmental advances. For the vice-president of Crea-SC, Fernanda Maria Vanhoni, the visit was very interesting from a technical and innovation point of view. “It is a company that values engineering, they have a very high technical team of engineers and patented technology, which the company uses in several ways. So, the importance of this visit to bring everything we saw to Brazil was very important, because we saw there, several engineering specialties, different ways, civil, electrical, mechanical, in a single company”.
